It's time to believe

When the Washington Redskins beat the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday it clearly showed that there is a change in the air when it comes to a team known for more 7-9 records than bitter upsets.

However, the Luchadore has to admit: Yeah, I thought it was over yesterday...now sigh.

But let's face it: Anyone who watches football knows how hard it is on any given Sunday to come from behind on a 14-point deficit. Not to mention Campbell is at 175 without any interceptions. I'm almost wondering if I should have pointed that out--Now I've jinxed him.

One thing I talked about early in this season is how he's going to have to get everyone involved in the game in order to suceed. He also has to continue getting that ball out ASAP. He's doing that very well and the Luchadore is pleased.

But you gotta respect when it's due: Zorn was right. A guy like Campbell needed to be on the field to get better and just to trust the "on the job training".  That's nerve wrecking, but he was right.

Oh yeah, for those who are saying "Well you gotta beat the Giants"...shut up. The Giants have problems of their own. You win a Super Bowl, people say that was a fluke, then they say you won't do good this season, they say you're "The same old Giants" Well hell, they HAD to win that game. Not to mention the fact that Jason was still fairly green going against a Super Bowl Champ.  Come on. We're deep now.

Cowboys--Owned.

It's time to believe that in our division, we have done what many have thought to be impossible this year. Credit Jim and that West Coast Offense which is now shaking the division.

Oh yeah, C. Portis: 29 Rush, 145 yds, 1 TD: I WANT MORE FROM YOU PORTIS! YOU CAN DO MORE! Ok so the Luchadore is demanding this week. Hey, it's been a few weeks.

I agree with the role reversals. Everyone's been trying to shout out whose the best early in the season which is stupid but it has kept the Redskins motivated to come out and have the chance to take over.

The Luchadore's thought on the East right now: It's anyone's game when it comes to who can take over but you know the Redskins have the momentum, and they've shook everyone up. The Virginia Pilot has even noticed...ooooooooooooo

But really, 4-1 and the only team you've lost against are the Super Bowl Champs....It's time to believe.
