Dan Snyder

They will probably win 2 or 3 more games all season and then, the big question will be whether Dan Snyder realizes that his model does not work and hires a GM and lets the GM make all of the decisions, especially who the coach is going to be. IF this does not happen, and I have a feeling that it won't, nothing will change for this franchise. They will continue to be the laughing stock of the NFL as demonstrated in yesterday's broadcast where Siragusa and Johnston often ridiculed the players and chastised the operations of the team by correctly pointing out that they were "hoping" that their already porous and old offensive line would stay intact and had no Plan B if that wasn't the case. This is why this team is as bad as it is and the cushy relationship that Snyder has with some of his players gives them too much power and renders the coach, whoever he may be, powerless and without any chance of getting them to play to their potential, much less practice on a consistent basis. The entire operation at Redskins park is devoid of any coherent strategy and is run much like a fantasy football team, get the big names and plug in the holes with spare parts that aren't good enough to play in the Canadian Football league, no chance they can play in the NFL.

Disgruntled quarterback Jay Cutler is being sent to the bears in exchange for Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton, a first (18th overall) round pick, and a third (84th overall) round pick this year, and a first round pick next year.  In addition the broncos will receive a 5th rounder this year (whoopdee doo).  Now that I have seen the details of the exchange, i'm glad the Redskins didn't go through with it.  First of all, the Redskins only had 4 total picks this year, trading away 2 of them would have left us with nothing.  I did want Cutler, but that is a price even the Danny couldn't do.  Luckily for us, Campbell is very composed, very mature, and dealing with the situation very well.

Apparently the rumors are flying all over the place, and Vinny Cerrato is actually talking to Denver now.  I said it last time, the Redskins should go get Cutler.  We need a franchise quarterback, and he is exactly that.

pen?  More NOT often than not, undrafted rookies have a smaller chance at making the team than Dan Snyder does at having the economy problem affect him.  Yes I know, Stephon Heyer made the team as an undrafted rookie from Maryland.  He was the only Redskins exception in who knows how many years.  Haha, yea I know I'm a freakin blogger and I should know when right? WRONG!  My job is not to throw numbers out there, its to write what I think, and what I gather talking to the real fan on the streets.

Arrington, came out with some callous remarks about Hall of Fame Coach Joe Gibbs, and Redskin owner Dan Snyder in an interview.

"I called Joe Gibbs a coward for leaving," Arrington said.  "You came in, you made some money for your NASCAR team.  No one else is going to say that.  I'm sure more people thought I was a [jerk] for saying that.  Joe wouldn't call me because he knows.  There are a lot of people who know the truth about what went down with me and the Redskins."

Please note that when I really dislike a sports figure associated with a team that I support, I always use the 'Last Name, First Name' description. Example: Gardner, Rod. Ugh.
