De'angelo Hall is a great player, could be one of the best in the league. I think we overpaid for him but, he's a local guy who loves this team, and wants to be here. 54 million dollars is a lot of money to give a guy who got cut from Oakland. Thats worse than giving an offensive lineman 30 million who got cut from Buffalo, which we also did. Thank god we didn't give 50 million or whatever to a certain wide receiver who got cut from Dallas. Oakland is supposed to be the wasteland that players go to when they are at the end of their career and want to get paid. I thought we were past the 100 million dollar team of 2000. Remember? Jeff George, Mark Carrier, Bruce Smith, Prime Time Moron, etc. I guess not.
